Capital Project Evaluation

Frequently Clubs and HOAs have a group of potential future projects up for consideration. Member opinions may differ on the relative importance, priority, and desirability of these projects.  To some, a project may seem essential, while others might feel it’s a waste of time and money. Take the opportunity to quantify the sentiments of your membership rather than hearing just from the squeaky wheels.

Key aspects of capital project decision making are knowing how large the supporter and detractor groups are, and understanding why each group feels the way it does. A carefully considered decision can be made once opinions have been gathered and quantified. From there managers and boards can use the insights gained from the survey results to carefully craft member messaging.

When we design a Capital Project Evaluation, we work with the client to ensure that individual project ideas are adequately presented with sufficient information for respondents to make a considered judgement. We include measures of relevance, importance, and priority.  We include demographic and lifestyle profiles to better understand who and what could be driving preferences. Our deliverable is a detailed report with individual project metrics and member insights.
